So basically the name kinda already suggests what this blog is going to be about! The Lil Flea! From flowy cotton kurtas to blinged out handbags, from playing games to eating chaat and sipping on Blue Tokai coffee, listening to some great musicians to getting to be a part of a Drum Circle! Spread out over 20,000 sq feet of space, this is my experience at the biggest and best flea market in the city!
For all those who do not know, The Lil Flea is the amalgamation of pop-up shops by some really creative people who showcase some very quirky and interesting products, along with great music, fun activities and food that could make you cry cause its sooooooo amazing!
The Lil Flea is the brainchild of Alankar Jain and Priyanka Punjabi who basically gave a platform to artist, designers and curators so that they could present their work and ideas to a hoard of people. And what a great idea it is!
This April, for their 4th Anniversary, The Lil Flea was held on 2 consecutive weekends at the Jio Gardens, BKC. From the first time I visited this flea, I must say that it has become bigger and better in a number of ways! Well first off, thank god they changed the Venue. The Jio Garden is so much more spacious and this time it was more organised than when it used to be held at the MMRDA grounds! The vibe at The Lil Flea has always been very laid back and easy! You can find the latest trends in fashion with the people coming out in their stylish best. From Boho chic to simple casuals, from floral dresses to crazy head gear, you can find people with an eclectic sense in Fashion. You never know, you could get inspired!
When it comes to food, there is an array of delicacies ranging from Chaat to Baos, from rolls to kebabs, there is something for everyone. Oh and for the ones who like to just relax, unwind and sip on some bubbly, there is a Bar that serves Alcohol and Beer from the tap! I am telling you this place is must visit if you still haven't been there!
For those who know me, know that I have a shopping addiction and for those who don't know me, please know now that I have a shopping addiction! Its true. And now talking about this addiction, for me, the shopping at the Lil Flea is the best thing! You can find really cute stationary to quirky footwear, elegant clothes, smart bags, fancy home accessories and even pots and plants! You can literally find everything under one roof! Oh and I guarantee that there is no way you will step out of the market empty handed. I will say though that the shopping can be slight pricey but I do not mind paying for the stuff cause its all really unique!

The Closet Code is a brand started by Mansi and Aasna Bhansali. It is a one stop shop for cool men's accessories like smart printed ties and pocket squares, socks and really interesting cufflinks.
2. Wrapistry

I absolutely looooved this brand and the main thing that pulled me to it was the way they set up their stall and presented their products! Very elegant and really pretty! If you are looking for some really cute and classy notepads or elegant gift cards and tags then this is where you will find them! They also offer gift wrapping services and hold workshops for the same!

Fizza Design Studio was set up in 2013 by Fizza Kanchwalla and believe me when I say that she is the best part about this brand! She is so approachable and friendly and is amazing to talk to. And to ad to that her products are so smart! At Fizza you will find very stylish sling bags, envelope clutches and Laptop bags with very smart prints. Her bags are a must buy if you are looking for something stylish and different!

Do up you room with cool wall art from The Polka Puppet. Ankita Bhawsingka and Toral Sonigra have a great collection of curated wall art pieces like fun Origami art and inspiration quotes. They also have really cute stationary like note pads, reminders and to do lists and even sipper bottles, lamps and sunglass cases. The thing that sets them apart from alot of other brands, for me, is the design on their products and the colours. It all looks so vibrant that you would want to buy every single thing they have to offer!

Coral Haze is a brand started by Manhar Oberoi and has the most amazing juttis for women. You can find both traditional as well as contemporary designs and prints on the juttis which you can team up with jeans, dresses or indian wear. From floral printed designs to hand work like zardozi and sequin work, there is something for everyone!
6. The Pitara Project
